ALBANY – The state Court of Appeals declined Tuesday to order retroactive compensation or damages to state judges who did not get higher salaries in the 2000s because pay raise bills stalled in Albany due to politicking over unrelated legislation.
The 5-0 court determined that the plaintiff judges misinterpreted its 2010 determination in Matter of Maron v. Silver, 14 NY3d 230.
