Vice President Joseph Biden is the featured speaker Friday at the commencement ceremony of his alma mater, Syracuse University College of Law, where he obtained his J.D. in 1968.

But Syracuse is only one of several New York law schools inviting alumni to speak to this year’s graduates. Alumni of Columbia Law School, Albany Law School, the Maurice A. Deane School of Law at Hofstra; University of Buffalo School of Law, New York University School of Law, Fordham University School of Law, New York Law School and St. John’s University School of Law will all be their alma mater’s commencement speakers.
