Edward McCarty III, the former Nassau County Surrogate who stepped down from the bench at the end of 2015, has joined the law firm Vishnick McGovern Milizio.
McCarty will be of counsel in the trusts and estates administration and litigation practice groups of the firm. He joined the Lake Success-headquartered firm last month and additionally will work in its alternate dispute resolution practice group.
