From left, former Eastern District Judge John Gleeson, a partner at Debevoise & Plimpton, received the distinguished federal jurist award; Lawrence Knipel, the administrative judge for civil matters for the Second Judicial District, received the distinguished state jurist award; New York Court of Appeals Judge Sheila Abdus-Saalam received the Charles C. Pinckney award; and Thomas Maroney, a partner at Maroney O’Connor, received the James S. Conway award for outstanding service to the defense community.
