Syracuse University has named former Northern District U.S. Attorney Daniel French, the school’s general counsel, as its acting athletic director.
The college announced that French would fill in as the school finds a replacement for Mark Coyle, who announced on May 11 that he is leaving after less than a year to become athletic director at the University of Minnesota.
