A federal judge will not rescind his order that Uber turn over documents for his review of a claim that Uber CEO Travis Kalanick hired a private investigator to dig up dirt on a plaintiff and his lawyer in an antitrust case.
Southern District Judge Jed Rakoff, who is presiding over a putative class action against Kalanick in lower Manhattan, said he will review in camera documents that plaintiff Spencer Meyer hopes might show the private investigator used fraudulent means to obtain information about Meyer and his counsel, Andrew Schmidt.
