A judge has temporarily suspended New York City’s granting of a rebate on the water bills for some homeowners and an increase in charges for landlords, co-op and condo owners.

Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Carol Edmead signed a temporary restraining order Tuesday to block the New York City Water Board’s rate actions until at least a scheduled hearing on her order on June 20.
