Former New York Chief Judge Jonathan Lippman has been named the 2016 recipient of the American Bar Association’s John Marshall Award.
The award is presented annually by the group’s Judicial Division for outstanding contributions to judicial independence, justice system reform or for raising public awareness of the justice system. It will be presented Aug. 5 during the ABA’s annual meeting in San Francisco.
