St. John’s University School of Law celebrated its 90th anniversary with a dinner and awards gala on Thursday at the Waldorf Astoria.
Alumni who were recognized at the event were, from left, Joseph M. Mattone, board chairman of the Mattone Group who received a lifetime achievement award; Elisa D. Garcia C., executive director and chief legal officer of Office Depot; Lisa Chun, senior vice president of Paulson & Co. Inc.; and Terrence Winter, a writer and executive producer of The Sopranos, Boardwalk Empire, Vinyl and The Wolf of Wall Street. They are joined by alumni Chief Judge Janet DiFiore, who was the keynote speaker and who also was given an award.
