Two high-ranking New York City Police Department officers were arrested and charged Monday with receiving over $100,000 in bribes and benefits from a Brooklyn businessman who used them to fix tickets, get private police escorts and even make arrests to settle private disputes.

Businessman and self-described NYPD “community liaison” Jeremy Reichberg was charged Monday for corrupting Deputy Inspector James Grant and Deputy Chief Michael Harrington with expensive dinners, luxury items and other perks to have the officials be on call when he needed a favor.
