The largest law firms in New York showed wide disparity in attorney head count growth, and gains at some firms were outweighed by deep drops at others.

This year’s New York Law Journal 100 ranks firms by their total number of full-time equivalent lawyers in New York state offices in 2015. Roughly the same number of these firms saw net gains compared with those seeing net losses. But the head count drops were much steeper.
