Eastern District Judge Kiyo Matsumoto has set a trial date of June 26, 2017, in the criminal case against ex-pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli and attorney co-defendant Evan Greebel.
Benjamin Brafman, Shkreli’s lawyer, argued for a June 2017 trial that would last as long as four weeks, noting the likelihood he would move to sever his client’s case from Greebel’s based on a “reliance of counsel” defense.
