Jonathan Lippman will be the first recipient of an award from a coalition of judicial groups in recognition of his work in New York while serving as chief judge and chief administrative judge.

Lippman will receive the inaugural Mary C. McQueen Award for Excellence and Leadership in Justice System Improvement on Tuesday at the joint annual conference of the Conference of Chief Justices and the Conference of State Court Administrators.
