The American Bar Association’s policy-making body on Monday adopted a controversial measure that makes harassing or discriminatory conduct by lawyers an ethical violation.
The resolution passed by a voice vote of the association’s House of Delegates at its meeting in San Francisco. An ABA Journal report said dissenting voices were heard, “but it passed clearly.”
