The jury in the insider-trading trial of former New York banker Sean Stewart indicated Thursday that it is stuck in its consideration of at least one charge against him.
“If it is a split vote on a count and the jury is stuck, is it not guilty or no decision on that count?” the panel asked in a note to Southern District Judge Laura Swain.
