A lawsuit filed against a Nassau County waterpark by a woman who was injured when a raft she was riding capsized has navigated past a motion to dismiss.

On Aug. 15, 2013, Hasupha Bryant was a passenger on a raft on the Bootleggers’ Run ride at Splish Splash in Calverton, in which riders climb aboard rafts that are carried about five stories high on a conveyer belt and sent back down on flowing water through a series of tubes.
