Three new deans at New York law schools this semester say they’re ready to tackle the formidable challenges in legal education and the profession.

The new deans at City University of New York School of Law in Queens, Syracuse University College of Law located upstate, and the Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in Suffolk County come to their new positions at a tough time for legal education: Applications, enrollment and bar exam scores have been on a downward trajectory in recent years.
