The conservative nonprofit group Citizens United cannot keep its donor list secret in New York state, a federal judge ruled Monday.
Southern District Judge Sidney Stein dismissed the case brought by Citizens United, which had fought the state attorney general’s requirement that every charitable organization supply his office with its Form 990 and its complete Schedule B, which lists each donor and the amounts contributed.
