A state appeals court has reversed the dismissal of a trip-and-fall case in which the plaintiff produced, on the third day of trial, a video of the Bronx banquet hall party at which she was allegedly injured by tripping over wires on the floor.

The Appellate Division, First Department, last week ordered a retrial in plaintiff Lurline Fox’s lawsuit against Grand Slam Banquet Hall and related entities.
