The New York State Bar Association is soliciting donations to go toward the cost of legal services for the victims of flooding in Louisiana.
The bar and its affiliated New York Bar Foundation say their disaster relief effort is similar to the assistance they provided to the victims of Hurricane Katrina in the Gulf Coast in 2005 and to those affected in the Northeast by Hurricane Sandy in 2012.
