The owner of an otherwise nonviolent Siberian Husky that allegedly jumped on and injured an 82-year-old woman may be liable for the woman’s injuries, a Nassau County judge ruled.

According to court papers, on June 8, 2012, Jacqueline Waldman was walking with her 3-year-old grandson in Hewlett Harbor. While passing by Engin Sangiray’s property, she said his 2-year-old Husky placed both of his paws on her shoulder.
