In the latest gender discrimination suit against a large firm in New York, a former Goldberg Segalla associate claims that a firm partner repeatedly criticized and harassed her due to her gender and child care duties; and just days after reporting the partner’s behavior to management, she was fired.
The suit, brought by Marissa Jones, a former associate in the firm’s Manhattan office and now a solo practitioner, was filed Wednesday in the Southern District, demanding more than $1 million in damages and at least $1 million in punitive damages.
