A man who registers and sells internet domain names and who tried to pitch a Donald Trump-related name for $400,000, has had his defamation suit against the Republican presidential nominee thrown out by a federal judge.

Scott Stephens, who lost his fight with the Trump Organization over the name “trumpestates.com” in 2015, sued in Brooklyn federal court, seeking more than $80 million in damages. The suit said Trump and his assistants harmed Stephens’ reputation by claiming he was “violating the law” and “cybersquatting.”
