Veteran federal prosecutor Diane Gujarati has been nominated to be New York’s next Eastern District judge.
President Obama tapped Gujarati, a deputy chief in the Southern District’s criminal division, to fill the slot vacated by the decision of Judge John Gleeson to step down from the bench and go into private practice.
