The Manhattan Democratic Party’s judiciary committee will not reverse an independent screening panel’s decision last month to deem state Supreme Court Justice Doris Ling-Cohan unqualified for re-election.
The Democratic party will, however, issue a public statement reiterating that Ling-Cohan’s name is eligible to be nominated for inclusion on the November ballot at its Sept. 22 convention, said Curtis Arluck, a committee co-chair, in an interview Friday.
