Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy has made official its move to 55 Hudson Yards, signing a 16-year lease at the development site on Manhattan’s West Side.

Milbank chairman Scott Edelman said Monday the rental cost will be “somewhat higher” than the firm’s current office downtown. Milbank, like other law firms anticipating a large office relocation, raised partner capital contributions to help finance the move.
