As a partner at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, Stephen Broome specializes in commercial trials and appeals. He also has carved out a successful pro bono practice, including one case headed to the U.S. Supreme Court later this year.
Though Broome long harbored the hope of going to law school, his path was not direct. After a semester at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, the Canadian native quit school for a more immediate ambition: professional snowboarding.
