Following his arrest for securities fraud, former pharmaceutical executive Martin Shkreli was shocked that Evan Greebel, a Kaye Scholer partner who had advised his company, was also being charged.

Shkreli “expressed shock that Mr. Greebel would be charged” and the pharmaceutical head described the government’s decision to charge Greebel as “just bizarre,” said Greebel’s attorneys at Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, detailing Shkreli’s statement to authorities.
