A requirement barring a convicted possessor of child pornography from his church has been rejected by a federal judge as unconstitutional.
Eastern District Judge Jack Weinstein said it would violate the First Amendment for the court to bar Pablo Hernandez from attending church where minors are present—and safeguards are in place that allow him to take part in religious rites.
