ESTATE OF JOHN CAMERON, Deceased (14/2899/A) — The court has been advised that, while a motion to vacate this court’s decision/order dated May 23, 2016 was sub judice, a determination was rendered in the Court of Common Pleas, State of South Carolina, County of Charleston in the Matter of John Thomas Cameron (Decedent), concerning respondent Linda Seaton’s alleged status as the decedent’s common law spouse. A copy of the order at issue reflects that the Court of Common Pleas denied Linda Seaton’s petition for common law spouse/omitted spouse status (Seaton-Cameron v. Cameron, Case No.:2015-CP-10-2056, 7/20/2016, J. C. Mullen). In light of this finding, counsel for petitioner in the captioned proceeding asks this court to set the matter down for a hearing on damages. This court rendered a determination on respondent’s motion to vacate its May 23, 2016 decision/order on July 20, 2016.
