After nearly a month of fighting over whether a Manhattan Supreme Court justice deserved to be re-elected, Manhattan Democrats voted overwhelmingly to put Justice Doris Ling-Cohan on the ballot.

More than 80 delegates packed the auditorium of Harlem Hospital Center Thursday night at the party’s judicial nominating convention, yelling out “Aye” and “Yes” in unison during an emotional vote, as cheers erupted among dozens of Ling-Cohan supporters.
