The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit has clarified the law on when the dismissal of a single case among several consolidated cases can be considered a final, appealable decision.

The circuit, examining its own case law in light of a recent U.S. Supreme Court decision, rejected the appeal of two losing plaintiffs in the World Wrestling Entertainment litigation before U.S. District Judge Vanessa Bryant of the District of Connecticut.
