The Trump Foundation is not registered to solicit money in New York and must halt all fundraising in the state, according to the state Attorney’s General’s office.

Attorney’s General Eric Schneiderman announced Monday that his office issued a “notice of violation” to the Donald J. Trump Foundation on Friday and ordered it to “immediately cease soliciting contributions or engaging in other fundraising activities in New York.”
