A Miami, Florida-based company has settled a lawsuit for providing allegedly substandard healthcare services to inmates at the Nassau County jail, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced Wednesday.

In a stipulation of settlement and discontinuance filed before Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arlene Bluth in State of New York v. Armor Correctional Health Medical Services of New York, 450835/2016, the company agrees not to seek any health services contracts at New York jails for at least three years, and to pay the state $350,000. The company admitted no wrongdoing.
