Attorneys for Tiffany’s scored their second win in a week Wednesday by securing punitive damages against Costco for treading on the trademark of the world-renowned luxury jewelry maker.

Following a jury’s Sept. 29 award of $5.5 million of profits, lead attorney Jeffrey Mitchell of Browne George Ross LLP heard the same jury declare Costco would pay $8.25 million in punitives for using the Tiffany name in signs at end-of-aisle display cases.
