Albany County District Attorney P. David Soares remained hospitalized Thursday after suffering a heart-related incident while working out over the weekend, his office said Thursday.

A spokeswoman for the 46-year-old district attorney, Cecilia Walsh, said Soares underwent a “procedure” on Wednesday related to his treatment, but she cited medical confidentiality rules for not providing more details about the nature of Soares’ heart condition or how long he will be hospitalized. She also declined to say where he was being treated.
