An upstate town court justice has been admonished for repeatedly attempting to carry a handgun into a county government building where only law enforcement personnel are permitted to have weapons.

While the commission said Friday that New Lisbon Town Court Justice Bruce Moskos had a permit to carry his .380-caliber Ruger, it noted that local laws in Schoharie County expressly prohibit firearms in county buildings.
