Sanctuary for Families board president William Gorin, senior counsel at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton, and Sanctuary’s executive director Judy Harris Kluger honored more than 30 attorneys from nine law firms Wednesday at the 2016 Above & Beyond Pro Bono Awards ceremony at the Highline Ballroom.
The firms recognized for their advocacy on behalf of survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking were Akerman; Cahill Gordon & Reindel; Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton; Cohen & Gresser; Davis Polk & Wardwell; Hogan Lovells; Reed Smith; Simpson Thacher & Bartlett; and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom.
