U.S. Supreme Court Justices Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Sonia Sotomayor will sit with the judges of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit Wednesday in a special session to commemorate the circuit’s 125th anniversary.
The court’s anniversary committee will host a Hands Lecture, named for former Second Circuit judges and cousins Augustus and Learned Hand. The lecture, by Yale Law School professor John Fabian Witt, is called “Adjudication in the Age of Disagreement.”
