Westchester voters are set to choose a new district attorney on Nov. 8, but what has been a quiet race may be reshaped by two upcoming debates.

Bruce Bendish, the Republican candidate for the open seat, and his Democratic opponent, Anthony Scarpino Jr., are set to debate at 6 p.m. tonight in an event to be televised live by News 12 Westchester. A second debate, co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Westchester and the League of Women Voters of New Castle, is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday at the Chappaqua Library.
