A former New York University administrator who was removed from her job in 2012 may continue to seek reinstatement and pursue defamation claims against the school and NYU officials, an appeals court ruled.
Reversing a 2014 ruling that dismissed claims brought by Pari Shirazi, the Appellate Division, First Department, decided Tuesday in In re Pari Sara Shirazi v. New York University, 103886/12, that Shirazi adequately alleged claims for breach of contract and certain defamation allegations.
