New York’s attorney general on Tuesday settled the false advertising suits that he filed last year against fantasy sports game operators FanDuel and DraftKings.
The agreements require the online gaming companies to pay $6 million each in penalties and costs to settle the two state Supreme Court actions, People v. DraftKings, 453054/15, and People v. FanDuel, 453056/15. Neither DraftKings nor FanDuel admitted any violations of state law in reaching the settlements.
