A former Long Island man was found guilty of plotting to kidnap an attorney who had won him a personal injury settlement in 2008. The scheme included planning to soak the attorney in gasoline in an attempt to compel him to reopen the case.
Glenn Terry, 48, was convicted Thursday of second-degree attempted kidnapping and five felony weapons charges. He was convicted following a two-week trial before Acting Suffolk County Supreme Court Justice Fernando Camacho, who will sentence him Dec. 14.
