The taking of selfies by voters in the voting booth will remain illegal in New York heading into election day.

Ruling in Silberberg et al v. Board of Elections of the State of New York, 16-cv-8336, Southern District Judge P. Kevin Castel refused to block enforcement of the state’s ban on people taking pictures of themselves with their ballots.
