Diversity and inclusion at law firms have come a long way in my lifetime. But if you look at the number of female partners and leaders at many of the AmLaw 100 firms, we still have much work to do. It’s not for lack of trying. Law firms across a spectrum of sizes and geographies are throwing their weight behind initiatives to increase diversity and inclusion. But they are often falling short, and here’s why:
