In less than two years, Mylan Denerstein has made her mark at Gibson Dunn. A litigation partner, she serves on the firm’s hiring, diversity and community affairs committee and is a member of the crisis management, white-collar defense, securities litigation and appellate practice groups. She came to Gibson Dunn after three years as chief counsel to Gov. Andrew Cuomo, where she helped to negotiate legislation for marriage equality, gun control and women’s equality, and was the highest ranking African American in the administration.
