A clash between the Securities and Exchange Commission and the House Ways and Means Committee over documents in an SEC probe into insider trading on leaks of Medicare reimbursement rates appears to be nearly over.

Lawyers for the SEC and the House committee informed a federal judge Monday they’ve reached agreement on the documents the SEC sought by two investigative subpoenas— subpoenas the House panel resisted.
