Lawyers reportedly were close Friday to settling three lawsuits brought against President-Elect Donald Trump for the allegedly fraudulent promotion of the now defunct Trump University.
A source familiar with the negotiations said lawyers were “nearing a settlement” that would end three suits against Trump related to his real estate investment school, one brought by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and two class-action suits in California.
