A college basketball coach has filed a federal civil rights suit, alleging he was dismissed after refusing attempts by school administrators to put more minority players on his roster and make the team more “friendly” to minorities.
Former Onondaga Community College coach David Pasiak said in Pasiak v. Onondaga Community College, 6:16-cv-1376, that he balked at requests to step up recruitment of players from certain high schools or from the rosters of Amateur Athletic Union summer teams, which would allow him to put more minorities into uniform.
