Four practitioners, two appellate judges and the general counsel to the Manhattan district attorney are candidates for an associate judge’s seat on the New York Court of Appeals.
The state Commission on Judicial Nomination on Thursday sent Gov. Andrew Cuomo a report with the list of nominees to fill the upcoming vacancy due to the mandatory retirement of Judge Eugene Pigott Jr. on Dec. 31.
